Ordering a Prescription

We need at least 2 working days’ notice to be able to process your prescription request. Unfortunately we are seeing too many urgent requests as patients have run out of medication, and this is putting unnecessary pressure on the GP team which (alongside all the increasing additional demands upon them) is not sustainable, and is avoidable if patients plan appropriately.

Please make use of the online prescription service if you have access (if you don’t have access, when you are next in the Practice please bring a form of identification with you and reception will be able to issue your user id and password to you), as this has a clear audit trail and is the fastest way for us to process your request.
